The Department of Science and Technology-National Capital Region (DOST-NCR) kicks off with the pre-event the celebration of the 2021 National Science and Technology Week to be held from 22-28 November 2021 with its activity geared at promoting micro, small, and medium enterprises in the region.
This DOSDT-NCR led event is dubbed “2021 Small Enterprise Upgrading Program (SETUP) e-Caravan” that will start at 9:00AM on 05 October 2021 and will last until 03 December 2021. This will be broadcast via FB Live, YouTube Live and Zoom.
With the tagline, “Tech Ka Muna, Na-SETUP Ka na Ba?” the e-Caravan will feature a combination of both virtual and face-to-face SETEUP-related activities via different multimedia platforms, tri-meetups, and blended S&T roadshows. The event is being conducted with the goal of providing the attendees with ample information about DOST’s SETUP. This extensive campaign aims to reach MSMEs who are yet to avail of DOST’s SETUP and let them know of the many benefits it can bring to their businesses.
SETUP e-Caravan was carefully planned to coincide with the holiday season which will be the best time for the MSMEs to double up or upgrade their businesses. During the event, the participants will learn how to upgrade their businesses without having to spend a lot and discover (or maybe speak to) some known personalities who have been assisted by the DOST-NCR through SETUP.
