NuLab: STEM in Motion goes to Iloilo for 2023 NSTW

The NuLab: STEM in Motion mobile science learning facility by the Department of Science and Technology-Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) is one of the exclusive and exciting Science and Technology experiences in the 2023 National Science, Technology, and Innovation Week to be held in Iloilo City.

The modern bus can be visited at the Iloilo Convention Center Parking Lot on November 22 to 26, 2023.

The NuLab bus primarily caters to senior high school students, where they will learn from advanced STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) modules that feature a wide variety of topics such as nanotechnology, aerospace engineering, nuclear science, earthquake risk analysis, science media literacy, programming, oceanography, robotics, entomology, and environmental science.

In order to pique students' interest in the sciences and encourage them to take tertiary courses in various STEM fields, NuLab is equipped with a large interactive board, individual monitors for each student, laboratory-grade equipment, wireless sensors, and more.

In past sessions, resource speakers demonstrated the tools of their trade, while the senior high school students explored and familiarized themselves with the methods being used in different branches of science.

Interesting and inspiring topics await! The NuLab: STEM in Motion mobile science learning facility only has a limited capacity per session every day, so be sure to pre-register for this unique opportunity to dive deep into science and innovation.
